1. Our Understanding of Ethics
At UZHAN Engineering we have served industrial facilities since 1996, and the most lasting principle this time has taught us is this: technical competence creates value only when it is joined with trust. We conduct all our activities in compliance with the applicable legislation, our contractual obligations and universal principles of business ethics, and we show the same care towards our clients, our employees, our suppliers and our business partners.
Our corporate culture is built on honesty, transparency and accountability. Every decision we take on site and in the office is recorded and carried out in an auditable manner, as part of our process-driven approach to management. Occupational health and safety is not a compliance heading for us but the way the work is planned; no commercial objective may take precedence over human health and safe working.
2. The Principles We Do Not Compromise
We tolerate no conduct that is unethical or unlawful. Every situation incompatible with these principles, including bribery, corruption, conflicts of interest, discrimination, harassment and unfair competition, is treated with the same seriousness regardless of who is involved.
3. Reporting Channel and Confidentiality
Our employees, business partners and all our stakeholders may report to us any situation they believe to be contrary to our ethical principles. Reports are assessed on a confidential basis; no one who reports in good faith will face adverse treatment for doing so.
You may send your reports to [email protected]. Describing the incident, its location and, where known, the parties involved as clearly as possible speeds up the assessment. Every report is recorded and concluded.
Personal data in your report. Reports are read and examined only by the Company Director. Where the examination requires it, only the information that is necessary is shared with another person, without revealing the identity of the person who made the report. You are not required to give your name in your report; however, for reports sent by e-mail, the sender’s address reaches us. Please do not include special categories of personal data such as health information unless they are necessary for the report. The personal data in a report (yours and those of the persons named) are processed solely to examine and conclude the report; they are kept for 5 years from the closure of the examination, after which only an anonymous summary of the outcome is retained. For details, please see our Privacy Notice.
