Sika Ucrete Systems
Polyurethane-cement heavy-duty systems for the most demanding environments: food and beverage production, wet processes and sudden temperature changes.
The flooring world’s answer to the harshest conditions.
Sika Ucrete is a flooring system developed for heavy-duty conditions, combining polyurethane with cement. In production areas washed with hot water and steam, exposed to sudden temperature changes and in constant contact with oils and chemicals, it steps in where epoxy and standard polyurethane reach their limits.
In food and beverage production in particular, it is the first choice for areas where hygiene and thermal shock resistance are required together. If your conditions are not this demanding, a more economical epoxy or polyurethane system may also be sufficient.
- Thermal shock resistance: Withstands sudden temperature changes and hot-water washdowns.
- Heavy mechanical loads: Long life under intensive forklift traffic and impact.
- Chemical resistance: Protection against oils, acids and aggressive chemicals.
- Hygiene: An easy-to-clean surface fit for food safety.
The floor of the most demanding production conditions.
Sika Ucrete is designed for areas where temperature, wetness, loads and chemicals push the floor all at once.
Food production areas
Production lines where hygiene and durability are required together.
Beverage and bottling
Continuously wet, intensively washed facilities.
Cold storage rooms
Areas exposed to low temperatures and thermal movement.
Wet process and washdown
Sections with intensive water, steam and heat.
Industrial kitchens
Areas where grease, heat and hygiene are critical.
Chemical-contact production
Floors in constant contact with aggressive chemicals.

Thick, integrated protection.
Sika Ucrete is not a thin coating but a thick protective layer that becomes one with the concrete; its durability comes from this thickness and structure.
- Seal coatSealing the surface and defining its cleanability, the top layer.
- Sika Ucrete screed layerTaking the thermal shock and heavy loads, the thick polyurethane-cement layer.
- PrimerThe bonding layer reinforcing adhesion to the concrete.
- Surface preparationWhere the concrete is mechanically cleaned and profiled: the stage that determines the adhesion of the entire system.
- Concrete slabThe existing substrate the system is built on, its condition assessed beforehand.
Heavy-duty options to suit the conditions.
Sika Ucrete is applied in different build-ups according to the area’s temperature and hygiene expectations.
Standard screed system
A thick protective layer for general heavy duty.
Self-leveling
A smooth, hygienic top surface.
Anti-slip textured
A texture providing safe grip in wet areas.
High-temperature grade
A build-up resistant to hot water and steam washdowns.
What is expected of a Sika Ucrete floor.
Thermal shock resistance
Withstands sudden temperature changes and hot-water washdowns.
Heavy mechanical loads
Long life under intensive forklift traffic and impact.
Chemical resistance
Protection against oils, acids and aggressive chemicals.
Hygienic surface
A cleanable surface fit for food safety.
Watertight
A safe floor in wet, washed-down areas.
Long service life
Lasting performance even under demanding conditions.
Its thickness comes from the conditions it faces.
The values below are indicative typical ranges only. The final system and thickness are determined by assessing the facility’s conditions on site.
Sika Ucrete, or another system?
Sika Ucrete is the answer to the most demanding conditions. If your conditions are not this severe, a more economical system may be sufficient.
