Anchoring Applications
Chemical and mechanical anchoring systems that tie new reinforcement, equipment and elements into the existing structure safely and calculably.
Everything new must be tied to the old with confidence.
New reinforcement in a strengthening design, a machine added to the production line or a mezzanine built later; what they share is that they must be tied into the existing concrete. That connection is called an anchor, and an anchor exists only to the extent that it can carry its load calculably. An anchor that does not hold puts at risk not only itself but everything it carries.
An anchor’s performance depends on three things: the right system selection, the right hole preparation and the right curing. Every parameter, from hole diameter to cleaning, from the resin’s temperature behavior to the waiting time, is applied in keeping with the manufacturer’s system approvals and the design’s requirements, and verified with pull-out tests where required.
- A calculable connection: The anchor carries the design load with a defined safety margin.
- Hole discipline: Diameter, depth and cleaning are the foundation of the system’s performance.
- Verification option: Confirmed with on-site pull-out tests where required.
- Recorded application: Traceable handover with point-based application records.
At every point where the new is tied to the old.
Anchoring is applied with the same discipline across a wide range, from strengthening to equipment installation.
Post-installed rebar
Tying new reinforcement into the existing concrete.
Equipment and machinery installation
Tying production equipment to its foundations.
Steel structure connections
Column base plates and connection elements.
Mezzanines and platforms
Tying new elements into the existing system.
Racking systems
Safe installation of warehouse racking to the floor.
Guardrails and safety elements

The strength comes from the resin interlocking with the concrete.
In chemical anchoring, the resin fills the gap between rod and concrete and transfers the load to the hole’s surface; a clean hole is the system’s precondition.
- Connected elementThe plate, profile or reinforcement layout transferring load to the anchor.
- Anchor rodCarrying the load, its dimensions set by the design: the bar.
- Anchoring resinThe chemical system interlocking the rod with the concrete.
- Prepared holeA hole whose diameter, depth and cleaning suit the system.
- Existing concreteThe parent body, its condition assessed beforehand.
A system for the load and the conditions.
The anchoring system is selected for the type of load, the concrete’s condition and the ambient conditions.
Chemical anchors
Resin systems for high loads and post-installed rebar.
Mechanical anchors
Expansion systems put into service quickly.
Hollow and perforated substrates
Sleeve solutions specific to hollow elements.

What is expected of an anchor.
Calculable load capacity
Carries the design load with a defined safety margin.
Hole discipline
Diameter, depth and cleaning meet the requirements.
Curing control
The resin’s temperature and time behavior is observed.
Verification by testing
Confirmed with pull-out tests where required.
Long service life
